We also have the widely preferred option not to take a bond/deposit but to draw our tenancies to have rent due two monthly in advance from the start of the tenancy . After the initial first two months rent payment the tenant must pay rent monthly this keeping two months in advance with payments throughout the tenancy. Landlords generally prefer this option as any late payments can be covered by the second months rent.
